The beagles shown above are truly a unique lot. Each of them has spent their entire life in a research laboratory doing an important job; ensuring the safety of human products. These girls and boys have been well-treated and socialized with both other dogs and people. Each of them have had a complete veterinary checkup prior to their release.

While these are all pure-bred beagles, you will find that they are a bit different from your normal beagle. Since they have lived most of their entire life in a lab, they have never felt the wind on their face, grass or snow under their paws or the enjoyment of relaxing on a couch snuggled up to their human. It is a wonderful experience to watch them explore and learn the 'outside' world. Once released from the lab, ROAR works on their housebreaking skills and introduces them to the "home" environment. Depending upon how soon you adopt one of these special beagles to their release date will determine how far along they are in their training.

In our experience, these are cuddly, curious dogs who get along well with adults, children and other dogs. They are approximately 5 years of age, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped (no registration fee), and have 30-days of complimentary ShelterCare health insurance.
